"Sorry about the rain, but it's Radiohead cncert!" So what else do you expect? Over 2 hours playtime and an an intense, balladesque and electrobeat pop`n rockset. Thom York & Co. played nearly the entire highly recommended "In Rainbows" under their astonishing stage design concept, which consisted of tubes hanging down from the ceiling, with cameras on it, projecting videos on the screens in the back of the stage. Weather was rainy and later on freezing, but for Radiohead it's always worth it.

Bases on Upton Sinclair's novel Oil!, Daniel Day-Lewis plays the role of Daniel Plainview a selfmade oil prospector who struggles with his misanthrope settings and his restless, intrinsic search for glory, money & oil. Disturbing music, great pictures and a vie right to the bottom of an empoisond soul. Do yourself some favor and watch it - it's terrific.

Well well it's Festspiel time in Öblarn. Paula Grogger`s play "Die Hochzeit" will be performed every 5th year. 300 layactors, most of the out of Öblarn and surroundings perform a very amusing and traditional 19th century play around Erzherzog Johann & Anna Plochl, all dressed up in authentic robes of that particular time. The Wedding will be perfomed Today, Tuesday & Wednesday next week for the last time, so if you are near or around Öblarn come and check it out, it's definitly worth it.

We spent 3 days at Bia`s Gjaidalm, celebrated her birthday, cooked, served and had a great time drinking a lot of "Lercherlschnapps". If you are ever around take the Gjaidbahn in Obertraun and you can see the hut when you reach the top of the mountain. It's a beautiful 3 hour walk from the hut down to Obertraun, you won't regret it. I will post pictures from the party later on that week.

It was Melt! time in Gräfenheinichen, Germany. 2 days of contemporary Rock & Electronic music, 15.000 people, a beautiful refreshing lake and 35°C (in the shade) - what more can you expect! Greatest moments: Tocotronic, Goose, Trentemoeller, Autechre & Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Party from dusk till dawn, but be aware with only 2 hours of sleep a day one should know what his body can take. Went to see the Live Earth broadcast at the Rathausplatz, Vienna on Saturday. I still don't know what I should think about this event. Seems that AL Gore is running for president again...but think about that this man wanted to implement tremendous cuts to the artistic freedom in his last elections. Quite inconsistant....And what the hell is Metallica or X-ibit doing there...doesn't seem that they are good role models when it comes to cutting down co2 and saving the environment...whatever...

Went to see THE MELVINS at the Arena yesterday. Once again it was a once in the life time experience full off energetic power: Grunge, Hardcore, Punk, Rock, Psychadelic, Experimental - you name it...you cannot pigeonhole this guys! And Dale Crover and Coady Willis - both on a 2 piece live drum set - amazing. If you have never heared of the Melvins, i prefer you keep your f**king mouth shout - go and take some music history lessons.

Aaron North destroying his guitar at the end of today's NIN performance at the Gasometer. For those of you who don't know Aaron's former band "The Icarus Line" go and check them out. Second day was even more rocking, more solo driven guitars and more stomping noise beats than day one. No new songs, just "The Hand That Feeds" from "With_Teeth", therefore beautiful "La Mer" and one of Trent's first songs "Get Down Make Love"! The night ended at Sub Zero for the aftershow party. Fuck goth-tech...you bloody losers!

Yesterday was Nine Inch Day I. Mr. Reznor played the Gasometer at Vienna and it was stomping, breathtaking and very energetic. Not that many new songs have been performed, mostly tracks from "The Downward Spiral" and despite "Something I Can Never Have" and "Hurt" it was a hardcore setlist.
